Overview

A global campaign that raises awareness about the power of genomics and its transformative impact on health worldwide.
Challenge

Genomics holds the key to understanding what makes us both similar and unique. By studying our DNA, genomics reveals how genetic variations influence health, treatment responses, and disease susceptibility.

Our challenge was to educate a global audience about the importance of genomics and its potential to address critical health challenges. 

We needed to make this complex topic relatable and accessible while fostering a vision of equitable access for all, regardless of geography, ancestry, or socioeconomic status.


Solution

‘The Story of our Lives’ is a universal idea that helps people understand genomics through the analogy of a book. Each one of us has our own genetic code that fills its pages. 

At the heart of this campaign is a powerful series of films that makes the science of genomics both emotional and easy to understand for global audiences. 

To amplify the message and broaden its reach, a suite of accessible assets was developed from informative posters and TikTok Q&As to multilingual toolkits and social content, which helped the World Health Organization champion equitable genomics for all communities, everywhere.
