About The Role
We are looking for a Digital Designer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about user experience, design systems, user architecture and who is deeply engaged with emerging UX/UI trends.
In this role, you will work closely with our design, creative, development, and strategy teams to create engaging, user-centred experiences. You’ll take part in the full design process, from user strategy to execution, crafting designs that balance aesthetics, usability and deliver business impact.
What Does The Role Include
- Design & UX/UI Execution: Create high-quality digital designs, interfaces, and user experiences across websites, apps, and other digital platforms.
- Wireframing & Prototyping: Confidently produce wireframes, user flows, and prototypes to test and validate design ideas.
- Design Systems & Consistency: Contribute to and evolve design systems, ensuring visual and UX consistency across digital products.
- User-Centred Approach: Advocate for user experience best practices, conducting research, usability testing, and incorporating feedback into design iterations.
- Presentation & Communication: Presenting your design concepts internally and to clients, articulating design rationale clearly and effectively.
- Collaboration: Engage closely with developers, strategists, and project managers to bring designs to life with a focus on feasibility and quality execution.
- Stay at the Forefront: Stay across emerging trends in UX/UI, interaction design, and digital product innovation, applying these insights to enhance our work.
Who Are We Looking For?
- Proficiency in Figma – confident in using the software to wireframe, prototype, and refine designs.
- 3+ years of experience in digital design, UX/UI, or related fields within an agency, startup, or digital product environment.
- A portfolio showcasing strong digital design skills, user experience thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Understanding of design systems, usability principles, and responsive design best practices.
- Some experience working with developers, ensuring smooth handovers and collaboration between design and development teams.
- Passion for creating intuitive and engaging digital experiences.
- Great communication skills, able to present and explain design decisions clearly.
- The drive to think proactively, and the hunger to do the best work in the country

Our Approach To Flexible Working
For this role, we are looking for an Auckland-based candidate, as we love to work closely and ensure that lead roles across the business are present in the office, helping to steer and direct our design, development and project teams.
We have a flexible working environment where staff are asked to be in the office on Monday and Friday and can choose WFH days in the middle of the week as required.
