About The Role
We’re looking for a full stack developer with a strong React skillset to join our technology team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced agency environment, enjoys switching between diverse projects, and is comfortable working across multiple codebases. You’ll play a critical role in delivering high-quality digital products and services alongside designers, strategists, and delivery leads.
What the role looks like:
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy full-stack digital solutions.
- Building performant, accessible, and maintainable front-end interfaces.
- Developing and maintaining backend services (typically Node.js or similar), including integration with third-party APIs and data sources.
- Working across multiple active projects, often simultaneously, in different stages of the delivery lifecycle.
- Contributing to technical discovery, scoping, estimation, and architecture decisions.
- Championing code quality through peer reviews, testing, and documentation.
- Actively participating in agile rituals such as stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Helping evolve internal tooling, frameworks, and development standards.
- Being proactive in identifying technical risks, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement.
Who are we looking for?
- 6–8+ years of experience in a full-stack development role.
- Expert knowledge of React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Comfortable working with common backend stacks (Node.js, Express, PostgreSQL, Firebase, etc.).
- CMS experience is essential – ideally with platforms like Sanity or Payload.
- Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud hosting (e.g. GCP, AWS, Azure, Vercel).
- Native app experience is a component of the role.
- Curious and confident in using AI tools to streamline tasks, explore solutions, and stay at the edge of evolving development practices.
- Understanding of accessibility and performance best practices.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with designers, strategists, and delivery leads in cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative, pragmatic mindset.
- Comfortable working independently across projects while contributing to a wider tech team culture.
- Experience with modern front-end tooling, specifically Next.js.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, etc.).
